The clinic officially opens for members signed up through their employer, and their families, on August 1st.
Louisville-based BluMine Health began operations seven years ago as Alternative Health Solutions (AHS), offering companies a health and wellness model through onsite care clinics or shared-site care centers. This model is known as direct primary care (DPC) in the medical industry, and covers access to care, chronic disease management, wellness programs, and RX solutions for member companies and their personnel. Stephanie Harkness has been named the Bardstown location’s advanced practice registered nurse for BluMine Health.
Bardstown-based Heaven Hill Brands, one of the largest independent, family owned and led distilled spirits suppliers, has entered into an agreement with BluMine Health to transform the healthcare services for more than 600 Kentucky and Southern Indiana-based employees and their families. The dedicated health facility will provide quality, personalized, frontline primary healthcare for a more proactive approach to health and wellness leading to better long-term outcomes.
”BluMine provides a personal, proactive approach between patient and provider - a benefit we are excited to bring our employees and their families,” said Emma Hutchens, Chief Human Resources Officer, Heaven Hill Brands. “This partnership is an opportunity for unique access to great healthcare across Kentucky and Southern Indiana.”
BluMine is an employer-sponsored healthcare program that provides care not only to the employee but the family as well. Annual healthcare costs seem to only go in one direction — upward. Employers no longer expect a return on investment (ROI) from their healthcare budget. BluMine is changing that by turning employer’s cost into an actual investment and allowing them to reap the benefits. BluMine removes barriers for the employees, allowing for the convenience of proximity and personal attention they deserve.
In January 2019, BluMine Health and Baptist Health formed a strategic alliance to deliver BluMine Health’s DPC model to the Baptist Health markets throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana. This alliance illustrates the collaboration of a major healthcare system, a DPC model, and the employer community. Through this alliance, clients will have “white glove” referral access to specialty care and other services that BluMine Health clinics do no provide.
We believe that people and their employers will thrive due to personal, effective healthcare that disrupts a broken system of high costs. Find out more at: www.bluminehealth.com
